Langhorne Creek 2000 Season
The combination of a dry winter and a poor grape set led to an overall reduction in the Langhorne Creek harvest. The low yield resulted in excellent full flavoured red wines, shiraz being the oustanding variety. In summary a small but high quality vintage.
Colour and Bouquet
Deep purple red in colour. An intense complex nose that offers hints of mint and menthol combined with ripe fruit and vanillin characters.
Palate
Offers spicy black pepper and aniseed with an abundance of soft berry characters ably supported by firm tannins.
